Do I need visa insurance?
In many countries, you will be entitled to access public healthcare only once you have successfully applied for your residency. The amount of time it takes to process can vary from country to country, but often it can take weeks or even years. Expats will typically need a temporary residents visa during this time, which will not qualify them to access public healthcare. In the interim, you will be expected to prove that you have the means to cover the cost of expensive healthcare costs.
Expat Visa PLUS insurance plan keeps you protected by ensuring you’re covered for any sudden and emergency healthcare costs that occur whilst you’re waiting for your residency or in support of your visa application or work permit. With Expat Visa PLUS protection, you can avoid facing high costs for healthcare, and you can rest assured that you’ll always be able to get the treatment you need.
