International Maternity Insurance
Whether you’re starting or growing your family while you’re abroad, it’s vital that you and your baby have access to the best possible care. International maternity insurance will provide cover for you and your family while you’re overseas.
What is expat maternity cover?
Maternity cover refers to what will be included in international health insurance covering pregnancy. This will involve all things required for maternity care, including delivery and newborn care for the child.

Why is international maternity cover for expats important?
International maternity cover is hugely important for expats. Having a baby overseas can be an exciting time, but it’s vital that you and your baby have access to the best possible care, wherever you are in the world.
Many countries have high costs associated with giving birth. Other countries might offer free healthcare, but might not have the quality facilities and care that expats are used to. International maternity insurance will ensure you have access to the best facilities and healthcare professionals, without having to pay out-of-pocket.
A benefit of international pregnancy insurance from Expatriate Group is that we operate on an open network of hospitals, so you have the freedom to choose whichever facility you wish to give birth. You will often be able to access multilingual healthcare professionals, giving you added peace of mind throughout your pregnancy.
