With Spain preparing to reopen its borders in early July there’s never been a better time to start planning your Spanish escape.

Barcelona

Gibraltar
This British Overseas Territory sits on Spain’s south coast and is dominated by the impressive Rock of Gibraltar, a 426m-high limestone ridge.

Almeria

The centre is accentuated by palm-fringed plazas and old churches but best of all the spectacular Moorish Alcazaba (fortress).
San Sebastian
This resort town on the Bay of Biscay is situated in Spain’s mountainous Basque Country. It’s famed for its beaches framed by a picturesque bayfront promenade and world-renowned restaurants.
Walk the cobblestoned old town and absorb the grand architecture or relax on the golden beaches and gaze at the lush hillsides.
